My life motto

Feelin' Funke-y!

I am reading Cornelia Funke's book, Inkheart, to my little sister Marriah.
I have to say, I am as entranced with reading it aloud as she is!
Something about the book is absolutely fantastic - Funke's way with words
is like none other I have ever read.
I am reading Marriah the entire Inkworld trilogy - and am just as excited
about finding out what happens to the characters as she is!
The books are absolutely amazing.
I own one of Mrs. Funke's other books, The Thief Lord, and have only read about 3 chapters so far (I have been caught up in other books lately!) but it also is very well written.
I don't like the setting as well as the Inkheart books, but nevertheless it appears to be a very good book.
You'll see some of my favorite quotes I get from the Inkworld trilogy
appear on my sidebar, for my (and your) enjoyment! :)
Must dash!

That's sounds like fun!
I started reading Inkheart, but it was in such high demand at our library ( because of the movie)
that I didn't get to finish it.
I'm hoping to be able to get it again really soon so I can finish it!
I love the way she writes as well. =D

I'd like to read Inkheart. Could you give me a preview/review of what to expect so I can determine whether to get it or no? I just watched the movie and loved it, so yeah... :)

I'm glad you enjoy the reading! :D I find that reading out loud to somebody can be as entertaining as reading it yourself. ;)

I read The Thief Lord, too, and I liked it. I haven't ready any of the other books, though.

This is a little late and kind of in the wrong place, but congratulations on finishing The Entering!

Hey Earwen,
I have a question, do you know how to make blogs private on wordpress?
I know I asked you before if you could make them private and you said yes, well I just can't figure out how! I'm getting slightly paranoid that someone will come a "steel" my book.......
So I was just wondering if you knew how to make it private =D

Awesome! I tried doing that with my little sister, but she's not that interested, lol :( I finally saw the movie the other day, and, well...personally I didn't like it one bit. I thought the way they messed with the ending was just terrible, lol! But, I am kind of a stickler when it comes to movies from books, haha :)

I've never read it, but can't wait to watch the movie! Have you seen it?
